Salmon Burgers with Honey Mustard

(Makes six small burgers. Double the ingredients for large patties.)

1 can (14.75 oz) pink salmon

1 oz plain Greek yogurt

1 egg white

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley

1/4 tsp sea salt

Ground pepper to taste

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Honey Mustard

Equal parts dijon mustard and Raw Rata Honey

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

A pinch of onion powder

A pinch of garlic powder

A pinch of salt

Optional Topping

Mix all patty ingredients in a bowl, minus the sesame seeds. Form into six balls. Roll into the sesame seeds until coated. Spray a skillet with non-stick spray. Once pan is hot, add in salmon patties; flatten with spatula. Cook on medium high for about three minutes per side, or until crisp and brown on both sides.

Mix all honey mustard ingredients together and serve on top of salmon burgers.

Beef Burgers with Crispy Honey Parmesan Mushrooms

(Makes six)

1 package of ground beef (we recommend 96% lean/4% fat)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp dried chives

1/4 tsp smoked parprika

1 package of button or baby portobello mushrooms (slice lengthwise/into strips)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbs Raw Beechwood Honey

1/4 tsp dried rosemary

1/4 tsp dried oregano

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

A pinch of all purpose flour

Salt & pepper to taste

Bring beef to room temperature before making patties. In a bowl, add beef and seasonings; combine well. Form into six patties. Grill or cook in a skillet to desired temperature (about six minutes for medium-sized burgers).

In a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray, add sliced mushrooms. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, herbs, spices, garlic and mushrooms. Cook on medium-high heat, mixing frequently. Drizzle with honey and continue to mix. Once mushrooms start to soften and brown, add the pinch of flour and the rest of the oil. Mix again and once the mushrooms are crisp, transfer to a bowl and toss with remaining Parmesan cheese.
