Raw Honey Baklava

Raw Honey Baklava


  • 1/2 package of phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 cup Wedderspoon Raw Fir Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease a 13×9 or 9×9 baking pan
  3. Melt half the butter/oil in saucepan
  4. Lay one piece of phyllo down to fit in the pan
  5. Brush melted butter/oil on top
  6. Layer another piece of dough on top. Repeat butter
  7. Sprinkle 1/3 of the walnuts and hemp seeds across buttered dough, then sprinkle cinnamon on top
  8. Layer another piece of dough and more butter
  9. Repeat the nut layers two more times
  10. Repeat another two layers of just dough and butter
  11. Use a sharp knife and cute a diamond pattern into the dough
  12. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until golden brown
  13. While baking, mix remaining melted butter with fir Wedderspoon Raw Fir Honey and vanilla
  14. When the Baklava comes out of the oven, slowly drizzle this honey butter mixture on top, allow to absorb and cool. Enjoy!
