I think we can all agree that smooth, glowy, healthy skin is something everyone aspires to have. These days there is a product that claims to solve every skincare woe - the skincare industry is massive! But, improving and taking care of your skin is not just about what you put on your skin - it’s about what you put into your body, too. Skin is the largest organ in the body, and what you consume on a daily basis has a large impact on your skin.
Hailey Bieber knows this, and recently, her Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, which she created in collaboration with Erewhon Market, has gone viral. The smoothie is said to be perfectly sweet and delicious, while offering healing benefits for the skin. We love a good smoothie in the summer, and if it’s good enough for Hailey Bieber to get behind, it’s good enough for us, right!? Unfortunately, Hailey’s special skin smoothie goes for $17 a pop and is only available in California.
But, we’ve got good news if you don’t live there, or don’t have that kind of money to spend on a beverage. We’ve taken all the best aspects of Hailey’s smoothie recipe and added a few of our own special touches to create a skin smoothie recipe you can easily create at home. Like Hailey’s, our recipe includes all the powerful ingredients to support skin health, while tasting absolutely delicious!
Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie: The Wedderspoon Way, is easy to make, calls for simple ingredients and is so yummy you’ll want to add it into your regular rotation of smoothie flavors. With a great taste and skin benefits, this smoothie is a win-win.
There are a few modifications in our smoothie recipe. Hailey’s recipe calls for maple syrup, but we prefer to use Manuka Honey, which offers a superfood boost. Manuka Honey has antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, meaning this smoothie will have even more benefits to the skin. And, we’ve swapped in Pique Tea B-T Fountain in place of the liquid hyaluronic acid Hailey’s recipe calls for. The Pique Tea B-T Fountain has natural ceramides and hyaluronic acid to support a youthful, dewy glow, which is the goal, of course!
Head to the farmer’s market or your favorite grocery store to pick up some fresh strawberries while they are still in season and try out this recipe! This smoothie has a thick, whipped consistency, thanks to coconut cream, and it is best enjoyed on a sunny day!
