Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh Potion Detox Smoothie: The Wedderspoon Way
Erewhon Market smoothies have been all the rage lately; you likely know this if you live in California, or, don’t, but simply frequent the internet. Every time a new smoothie flavor is released, it’s all over social media feeds and online news articles but, in case you aren’t caught up on the Erewhon Market smoothie madness, let us explain.
Erewhon Market is a popular luxury health food market with locations in Los Angeles. They offer smoothies in store, and lately, have been partnering with celebrities, including Hailey Bieber, and most recently, Kourtney Kardashian, on special limited edition smoothie varieties. While these smoothies look and sound fantastic, they have a bit of a steep price tag, and, being that Erewhon Market only has locations in LA, many of us are left admiring the smoothies from afar, or on Tiktok and Instagram.
Back in the summer, we recreated Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, and now we’re back with another smoothie re-creation. The latest in the Erewhon Market smoothie lineup is Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh Potion Detox Smoothie. This smoothie, available for a limited time this Fall, features activated charcoal, maple syrup, avocado, coconut, protein powder and fruit. The contrast of the activated charcoal and coconut cream create a very eye-catching design and color combo when the smoothie is poured. If you’ve seen the photos, you may even think it looks like a piece of art in a smoothie cup!
If you’re intrigued by this smoothie but don’t want to spend $18 a pop, or can’t get your hands on one because you don’t live in LA, don’t fret. We, too, were excited about this new smoothie and decided to recreate it and share our own recipe. Our recipe, like Kourtney’s, calls for lots of coconut – coconut water, coconut yogurt, and coconut cream. Not only does this make the smoothie hydrating and refreshing, but also creamy and delicious. Our Poosh Potion Detox Smoothie: The Wedderspoon Way recipe also calls for almond milk, protein powder and avocado, making the smoothie energizing and protein-rich. Wedderspoon Manuka Honey, blueberries and banana sweeten it up and make it truly delicious to sip on. There’s nothing better than eating or drinking something that tastes as wonderful as the health benefits it offers your body.
Our version of the smoothie is just as tasty and nourishing as the original. We kept our recipe true to its roots - it is dairy-free - which Kardashian fans will know is important to the recipe’s original creator, Kourtney! And, don’t worry….the Wedderspoon recipe will look just as striking as the Erewhon Market smoothie cup you see on social media. We, too, use activated charcoal powder, which gives it that vibrant black color. It’s also very on-theme for spooky season!
After you try this recipe out, let us know what you think. And, if you’re sold on the Erewhon Market smoothies after this one, try out our Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, too. This smoothie is sweet, creamy and contains ingredients that support smooth, glowy, healthy skin. Our Coconut Cloud Smoothie with Manuka Honey is another Erewhon Market recreation. This vibrant blue smoothie is light and refreshing, and packed with nutrients.
Before you take your blender out, make sure you’re stocked up on Manuka Honey. It’s also that time of year when it’s important to make sure you have supplies on hand to boost immune systems and remedy the common symptoms of colds and other cold-weather ailments. Our Immunity Gummies and Manuka Honey Drops do the trick, and, are conveniently available in a discounted bundle along with our Manuka Honey.
