Pumpkin Spice Manuka Honey Butter
These days, it seems like the epitome of the Fall season is pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice baked goods, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice lotions…you name it, and it comes in a pumpkin spice option!
Add the taste of the season to all your favorite baked goods with a schmear of our Pumpkin Spice Manuka Honey Butter. That’s right, you don’t need to buy every item in the pumpkin spice version! With this recipe, you can stick with your favorite classic breads, muffins and pastries, and simply add a little kick to them with this butter.
Pull out your loaf pan and get some fresh bread baking in the oven because you’re going to want to eat slice after slice when you see how good it tastes spread with Pumpkin Spice Manuka Honey Butter. It’s creamy, smooth, decadent, and will give you all the fall feelings! It’s sweet and spicy, thanks to pumpkin spice and Wedderspoon Manuka Honey. The spice level can be easily adjusted based on your preference. Absolutely love the flavor of pumpkin spice? Use a good heaping amount of spice. Want just a subtle flavor? Go light on the pumpkin spice!
We suggest using a high quality butter to ensure your pumpkin butter comes out as thick and creamy as possible. And, if you’re buying canned pumpkin puree (which is totally fine, it will still taste great!) make sure you buy the no-sugar added kind. Between the Manuka Honey and vanilla extract this recipe calls for, no additional sweetener is needed, trust us!
While jars of pumpkin butter are sold in some stores this time of year, they can be hard to come by (they fly off the shelves!), and they are often filled with artificial flavoring. Using our recipe, you can ensure that your Pumpkin Spice Manuka Honey Butter is made with only real, clean ingredients, and it will be true pumpkin butter - made with actual pumpkin, rather than pumpkin flavoring.
This recipe doesn’t take long to make, and you can make this pumpkin butter in bulk so you have it ready to go for a few weeks. We suggest storing it in an air-tight glass container in the fridge. If you’re the gifting type, a jar of Pumpkin Spice Manuka Honey Butter would make a lovely gift for a friend or neighbor. Perhaps pair it with some homemade bread or muffins. This pumpkin butter would be delicious spread on our Cinnamon Spice Muffins.
