DIY Manuka Honey Face Masks for All Skin Types

It's never a bad time to practice some self-care, and now, more than ever, is a very stressful time for many. Give yourself a little TLC with a face mask that will leave your skin feeling clean, moisturized and glowing. Whether you have dry or normal skin, or other skin concerns, we have a mask that will suit you.

It's never a bad time to practice some self-care. Sometimes that looks like sleeping in, eating more veggies, or indulging in a long soak in the tub. May we suggest adding a little Manuka honey mask to your self-care tactics in the coming weeks? These DIY Manuka Honey Masks will leave your skin feeling supple, moisturized, and glowing. For Dry Skin: Manuka Honey Mask with Yogurt (or vegan alternative)

Calling for only two ingredients, this mask is super easy to mix up. The Manuka Honey in this mask is soothing and hydrating, while the fatty acids found in yogurt (and avocado, if you are making the mask vegan) are moisturizing. The lactic acids in yogurt are also beneficial as they are known to help clear away dead skin cells and give your skin a clean, refreshed look.

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and gently apply to face. Leave on for 20 minutes to an hour and then carefully wash away withĀ a gentle face cleanser and warm water.

    Normal Skin: One Ingredient Manuka Honey Mask

    DIY face mask recipes don't get any simpler than this!Ā Manuka Honey alone is hydrating and will thoroughly cleanse your skin. It can also help balance your skin's pH level, reduce redness and sooth your skin, leaving you with an all-natural glow.

    Directions:

    Wet your face and gentlyĀ spreadĀ Wedderspoon Manuka HoneyĀ across your entire face (about one teaspoon should suffice). Let the Manuka Honey sit, untouched, on your skin for 20 minutes to an hour (perhaps take that bath while you wait!). When ready, gently wash the Manuka Honey off your face usingĀ a gentle face cleanser and warm water.

    Other Mask Recipe Add-In Ingredients:

    Activated Charcoal

    Add this to your mask mixture to help treat breakouts.

    Matcha

    Acts as an antioxidant and protects skin with its polyphenols. This is a good ingredient to add for aging or mature skin.

    Spirulina

    Sensitive skin will love this soothing, mineral-boosting ingredient.
