Peppermint Protein Shake

It’s the end of December and we can only assume that you’re enjoying the holiday season by listening to Christmas music, turning on string lights and enjoying all the peppermint food items, drinks and lotions you can find! It’s no secret that peppermint is the flavor of the season, and, we’re going to let you in on a little secret. Peppermint and Wedderspoon Manuka Honey make a great pair. Together, they offer just the right amounts of sweet and minty flavor. Our Peppermint Mocha Protein Shake will give you the energy you need to power through last-minute gift shopping and home decorating!

Ingredients:

Blended Version

  • 1 scoop Garden of Life chocolate protein
  • 1-2 Wedderspoon Manuka Honey on the Go packets
  • 1-3 drops peppermint extract OR 1 tsp peppermint flavored coffee (if using extract, add 1 tsp of instant coffee)
  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk or water
  • 1/2 cup ice

 

      On-The-Go Version

      • 1 scoop Garden of Life chocolate protein
      • 1-2 Wedderspoon Manuka Honey on the Go packets
      • 1 cup peppermint flavored coffee, brewed
      • 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk

          Directions:

          1. If making blended version, put all ingredients in blender. Blend to desired consistency and serve.
          2. If making on-the-go version, blend ingredients in blender cup or simply mix well using stirrer or spoon. Add ice after mixing, if desired. Enjoy!
